I know there were several people praying we would have a girl! (You know who you are!!!)
I must admit I'm still in shock. For awhile I really wanted a girl. I'd get sad when I was at Target and saw the adorable, girly clothes. Or I would think about how close I am to my own mom and really want that with a daughter of my own. But during my pregnancy with Eli I got completely okay with the thought of us having a house full of rambunctious boys! I would say, "The world needs more godly men and God must think us capable of raising them." So I'm still pondering the idea of having a girl and what that means for our home.Pink. Lots more pink I suppose!
I am just itchin' to get to a store and buy something pink!!! Pink cowboy boots! That is what your house needs. :) I am thrilled for you my friend. Cannot wait to meet her!
ReplyDeleteWOOOHOOO! We love boys here too you know. But I'll tell you what the girl means...It means when those boys are being wild and rambunctious, not understanding the things they are doing, and you're sitting on the couch with her holding her dolly, she might just look up and say, "Momma, those boys are wild, I am NOT interested in THAT!" And you might just smile the biggest smile.
